Rain or Shine it's Rodeo Time !

Spring is just around the corner and with it brings the 4th Annual Jackson County High School Rodeo back to Cortland, Indiana. This year’s rodeo theme is “THE PINKEST SHOW ON DIRT” and again will be a breast cancer fundraising rodeo. All proceeds from this 2 day rodeo will be donated to a charity in Jackson County.

Saturday May 14th
- 7:00 p.m. 

Bull Riding !With the help from the Indiana and Kentucky High School Rodeo Teams this is the “main event” to attend each spring. Reasonably priced and close to home, this high school rodeo is able to provide families of Jackson County and beyond an experience some will never forget.   The sport of rodeo is usually something  you would only see on television, but the Plumer Family, with the support of the community, is able to bring this event to town.

Calf Roping !The town of Cortland is honored that Indiana High School Rodeo Association, along with Kentucky has decided to have Jackson County play a part in their journey to this year’s 2011 National High School Rodeo Finals held in Gillette, Wyoming. The Plumer’s are inviting all of Jackson County and beyond to come and experience a rodeo that will create a memory for your family to last a lifetime!
